Lines in a room

I like this room but they are two different kinds of lines in here. They wont there room to be bigger with the vertical line and they wont the room the look taller with the horizontal lines. The line on the floor are also vertical.

I really like this housing blue print because its not to complicated and it doesn't look very big. If i had this house i would be single and i wouldn't have kids because i don't think its big enough.
